We had a cat drinking fountain once. I thought it would be great for the hot weather for the budgies to bathe in.
Useful? Nope, they wouldn't go within half a mile of it. Little scardy birds.

I'm seriously considering a cat fountain bath for my Flock.
I reckon within two years they'd be comfortable enough to perch on it if there's no water and it's not switched on!
