Snowy could actually see very well. Both him and Roswell were exhibition birds from a breeder. He didn't keep them because they were "too small to show". It was my good fortune Marianne Marlow, that pic of Snowy reminds me of an aunt when I was a teen always saying to me "get that hair away from your eyes"!

Hezz Do you have any of Bluey with his friends? I think the one in your profile is the only picture I have ever seen of him. This one, sweetpea ? It’s an oldie: Sparky, Misty, Mango, Spyro and Smudge. (Two out of five ain’t bad. ) Bluey only knew Smudge and Sparky, M. I shared photos way back then, but he died only about six months after this forum started up, and he wasn’t well for quite some time beforehand. I’ll have a look through my stored photos. See what I can find.

Marianne Marlow how do you copy and enlarge a picture from someone's post and re-post it with your message as you did above?

Yes of course you can sweetpea. In the mirror photo it's "Snowy, Sky, Monty, Custard I, Roswell and Jerry" Blithe came much later than that photo, he never met Snowy, Monty, Custard I or Jerry. Dumpling, Hector and Blueboy would have been around at this time, but were obviously off doing more interesting things when the photo was taken! Can I put these pics in the gallery too, Marianne Marlow ? Am I right in saying they are of Snowy, Roswell, Monty, Custard I, Jerry & Sky?? (Always get Sky & Blithe mixed up!) I remembered Sky was one of your oldest, so guessed it was more likely him than Blithe in the picture.

Same breeder I got my girls Atilla & Raspy from. I will add... they are the two sweet, gentle looking girls in my avatar...

I love that photo, too and he was a fiend for crackers and Vegemite. It was an acquired skill getting the Vegemite spread without his intervention.

Brian Smart in was it Brentwood? Paul went to pick them up for me, but he said that he had a nice set up and the budgies got fresh vegetables every day. Snowy could actually see very well.
