I'm about to buy a new air purifier and I'm leaning towards Levoit and just trying deciding on the model. I notice that a few of you have one Marianne Marlow, loz and ffiscool. Would you recommend Levoit and which model to you have? My lounge is quite small so I can probably manage with one of the smaller ones.

We had Levoit, model LV-PUR131S, covers a large room+, excellent, still leave running after Whistle's departure.

LEVOIT Core 300 Air Purifier Replacement Filter, 3-in-1 True HEPA, High-Efficiency Activated Carbon, Core300-RF, 1 Pack, White amzn.eu/d/dBVgKtbI have a couple of these, criswellI'm happy with them. I suspect one if these will do a smallish room with a sensible number of budgies. Currently, replacement filters are £30, one every six months (per unit).

I also have a smaller one in the bedroom, but can't seem to find a link for it.

Thanks Marianne Marlow. I've put that one on the list too. I shall try and make a decision before the end of the day but I'm not very good a deciding so it may take longer

Thanks ffiscool. I'm just trying to decide if I need one with an auto feature to change fan speed to match air quality. I used to have my old one on high the whole time just to be on the safe side but probably didn't need to. If it has an air quality indicator but not an auto mode that will do, as I can see what the quality is and turn it down accordingly. Oh, I don't like making decisions!

Mine has three speed settings. I have it on high for a couple of hours, medium for three hours and on low until bedtime. Very methodical, I know. Its my curse.
