She’s sulking right at the top of her enclosure because I’d just put her back from her tree climb, she’d have me at it all day, if I go in the room she stretches her arms out 🤦🏻♀️😁. Her plants are a mix of real and fake Hezz , her whole enclosure has to be water sprayed twice a day, it’s all monitoring temperature control and humidity, much too faffy for me to ever have one myself, and what with the feeding I’ll leave that to Tommy who is a dedicated 10 year old daddy to her 😊 I don’t like it either Marianne and criswell but I’ve had to put my David Attenborough head on this week instead of my Disney one, she needs food too 🥴😁

That must be so sweet skysmum to have her stretch out her arms to you! "Oi you, I'm over here, let me out"

Great photos. I like chameleons, their feet are quite funny and their eyes are amazing.

So at dinner time do you “powder up the prey”, open her enclosure and release? I’d love to see her running around trying to catch them.

Yep, she’s very stealth like, hunts, gets a visual lock on then strikes, it’s quick 😁 The worms are the worst bit, I have to offer those in a dish because they burrow in the substrate and she can’t get to them 🤦🏻♀️

How many different types of food does she have?

How many different types of food does she have? Good question; I’m curious as well.

That’s about it, she has different types of crickets and worms, she’s currently on morioworms and the silent crickets, I like the sound of crickets but where Tommy has her in his bedroom the singers keep him awake at night
The bigger chameleons eat fruit and green stuff but these don’t.

I didn't know that some chameleons eat fruit. And I didn't know there are silent crickets. This is a vey educational thread.

Poor Tommy being kept awake by the sound of crickets. he could imagine he was sleeping in the bush. I’m not sure that a silent cricket quite makes the grade - is a cricket without a crickety sound still a cricket??

It’s been a massive education for me too 😂
I also didn’t know about the silent crickets until she came along. I’ve also not seen her change colour until she came here, when she first came she turned black every time the dog entered the room and when I turn her lights out at night she rolls her tail into something resembling a Swiss roll and curls up to sleep.
She’s going home tomorrow, Thankyou for listening to my ramblings about my exotic house guest 😁
