In the past two days, an unknown bird(s) has torn the hanging rope perch down twice! I will try a different hook/fixture sometime. For now, I added the rope to the playstand. Please excuse the dirty stand bottom, which I hadn't cleaned before taking the picture.

In the past two days, an unknown bird(s) has torn the hanging rope perch down twice! I will try a different hook/fixture sometime. For now, I added the rope to the playstand. Please excuse the dirty stand bottom, which I hadn't cleaned before taking the picture. Sky snakes are tricky. You have to match the wall plug to the size of the hook you screw into the ceiling but you need to ensure the wall plug is the right type. I would recommend something like these: www.screwfix.com/p/fischer-plasterboard-plug-ldf-6mm-x-32mm-100-pack/81956www.screwfix.com/p/fischer-plasterboard-plugs-hdf-10mm-x-28mm-100-pack/58219Make sure the hook is a tight fit in the plug and that the plug is a tight fit in the hole you've drilled into the ceiling. (You probably know all this.) Chocobo & Quincy joined me for SpagBog dinner and Q is now snoozing. The budgies are singing, Chocobo has taken herself off somewhere quiet and Coco is watching me type. She's clearly puzzled as to why Quincy isn't trundling around on the keyboard, adding extra letters to my post.

I have trained my Buddy to come sit on my arm when I call him and hold up my arm'M ost of the time it works. Sometimes he'll sit on his perch and shivere (its not cold). Any ideas what that means?

a cute thing just happened. I put my hand in a cage to tell off Daisy. Ayla plonked herself on my hand Guess she thought it was bedtime as that is the only time she will usually get on my hand willingly.

I’ve generally seen this when they are excited - about to get a treat or know that a treat is coming - Loki does this a lot. Otherwise, about to launch into activity seems to be one, wanting to go somewhere but not sure where, or not sure if it is a safe landing place perhaps. Sometimes they will just sit on a perch and do this, or flap, without even trying to go anywhere. Maybe it’s Buddy’s way of exercising without having to go for a fly.

Earlier, Sprite was washing her face and chest in the bird bath, while saying "Good birds" repeatedly.

Babybird got a computer today and now there is no time to play with all the other toys. She just loves that computer and bobs her head on it while she press every key

I think Babybird's workload is too high. Just look at his office, tasks all piled up!
