Oh Loric Poor Prothall. I know. I love the lad to bits, he's wonderful but his few friends all left him. Mhoram for Smudge and Berek for the Rainbow Bridge. It's heart-breaking if I let myself think about it too much. He's chatting up Eva as I type. Brave of him!

It's like a movie here.
Mr Hibs went winging past me (dropping a poo onto my lap) and landed in the Nighttime cage. There he surprised and disrupted Loric who was tempting to (a-hem) step onto the back of Eva with the result that Eva dropped from the low perch onto the cage floor. Loric was annoyed and started to chase Hibsy and this disturbed Chocobo, who flew out of the cage and onto her favourite bookcase, disturbing Coco who then flew to her favourite sky snake.
The Butterfly Effect is an observable, measurable phenomenon here.

I was sprinkling sprouties in the Forage Gym. Gurgeh was on the perch, looking at the sprouties, looking at me and I could tell he was saying, "Where the Nutriberries, where they at?" He's still there now Just when you think you have a human trained correctly...am I right?

Everyone here is singing, burbling or being very busy, apart from Isabeau who is snoozing in her usual spot.
I'm especially pleased to see Mr Hibs singing and chatting-up Eva. He's a little quieter than usual at the moment, after his Bogus Adventure.
Let me start out and say, It doesn't matter how careful you are being, you are never careful enough. It's luck that determines whether your precautions are "effective" or not. Take for instance, I keep the door to each toilet closed at all times unless I am actually in that room. Each toilet itself has its lid closed at all times, unless it needs to be open and I am standing right next to it.
Can you tell what it is yet?
Earlier I was in the downstairs loo. I was quite literally closing the lid when Mr Hibs flew down and found the sliver of a gap - and ended in the pan. I scooped him out so quickly he didn't even seem to get wet. He was not a happy budgie.
I checked him over, he seemed OK but he was breathing heavily and was slightly trembly. I sat him on a perch to recover and an hour or so later, he seemed more like himself.
I however am not myself, I was shaken by this to my core. A budgie in the loo is my second-worst regular nightmare scenario/imagining, it's one of the things, the thought of, I often scare myself.
I still cannot believe he managed it. If you've seen "Independence Day", you might recall the scene where the two heroes exit the alien mothership through a rapidly closing door, slipping through with literally no time or space to spare. Mr Hibs achieved a very similar feat.
As I typed this, Hibsy started to pursue Loric and Boba, one of the regular love triangles we see here. I think he's back to normal.
I bet I have nightmares tonight.

Weather here is gloomy, which means my lot are just sitting about snoozing.

All of our Budgie girls (Willow, Freya, Violet, and Misfit) happened to eat peas together. The males had decided to nibble on seeds or fly around first.

Poor Mr. Hibs! That would also scare me badly.
You are absolutely correct about things happening no matter what precautions we take. I wish some people on other forums understood this...the ones who are so perfect that nothing ever goes wrong with their pets.
