Barrie I'm so sorry I've only just come across this thread. Poor Emily, and the whole family too. A sick child is every parent's worst nightmare.I promise you that I will never let a day go by when I don't think about her or wish her well until I read your post on here that she is fully recovered. xx

I have had some quality time with Emily, Helen and Martyn today. Emily had a blood transfussion yesterday and what a different little girl she was today, this afternoon she will be having two lots of chemo and we are informed she will be very ill within a few days.

It's very difficult for me to see these pictures and read about her condition. I can imagine what will this be like for her parents and you. God bless her.

The chemo is a necessary evil Barrie, it will be hard for you all to watch her go through it. We have experienced it in our family with my cousin as a child, but remember it is going to cure her and being so young she will probably have no memories of this horrible time. Thinking of you all daily xx

just had great news , emily is reponding well to her treatment and may get home this weekend , she will then to go to the RVI once a week for chemo for the next 6 months .
