I miss you so much even though it's been over a month. I wish I could have taken away the cancer. We rushed you to the vet as soon as we could, we hoped you would have gotten better when hospitalized but we didn't know you had cancer that had spread so bad. We tried everything we could and had we known we would have kept you home and just loved on you the last minutes. Just know we really truly love you with all our hearts and I think about you every day. We did everything possible and love you so much. I'm so glad you fought to be with us until the last moment. I love you Aladdin.
I am sorry for your loss. As you said that you did whatever was possible. Rest in peace Aladdin.
My Birds My Foods & Supplements Always treat your pets as family members. We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures (Quran 21:107) There is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Register a thing (Quran 6:38)
It's amazing how he was able to hide all the signs of his cancer. We took him for checkups and the vet the first sign of a problem but didn't know about the cancer till we got back the test results. I miss him so much and now our Jasmine is a solo bird and over the past month has been adjusting but now I feel guilty when we leave her home alone even for a short bit, and when we are out for a decent amount of time she lets us know she isn't happy.
Here is our last photo together. My husband and I miss him so much, he was my budgie love.
So sorry, Livvylove. Aladdin had a lovely life with you and Jasmine, unfortunately just too short. I am sure he knows you did all you could. While you will always remember him, I hope the time comes soon where you are able to smile when you think of him. RIP Aladdin
We are not Vets, Avian or otherwise. If you have any serious doubts about your budgies' health an appointment with an Avian vet should always be your first point of call.
Yea jasmine now has a huge cage all to herself, she is still grieving too but is finally at the point where she flies around and chirps happily. I still see moments where she wishes he was still around but she has slowly started bonding with us. Before she only tolerated us because Aladdin was bonded to us. We don't want to get another bird only to have them bonded to each other with no attachment to us so we are going to wait till Jasmine is more bonded to us before we get a friend for her.
