My first budgie lived in my old hamster cage. It was a pretty roomy cage but probably not really big enough for a budgie. Sadly I don't still have it and I don't think I'm near enough to be much help *has no idea about where places are*
Well done on your rescue. I hope everything goes well.

Thank you everyone, taking the bird to "Birds in Need" London Road, Stoke On Trent. I will endeavour to keep you informed of its condition but, thank you all.

Yes the budgie has been taken there just, we dropped it off and gave the lady a donation towards food etc. We didn't hand the bird over until we had met the lady and spoken to her and were happy to hand the bird over. We will ring up and check on the Budgie tomorrow. Thank You.

Well done, you. I hope all your effort wasn't for nothing, and little budgie finds its way either back to its rightful owner or rehoused in a good home.

Good job, Finder. The little budgie was lucky you came his way after he was attacked. Please keep us posted if you are able to find the owner. You did everything right.

Well done Finder, you have given him the best chance you could.
Budgies can survive cat attacks - my little Beaky did and is still with us three years on.
Keep us posted and good luck little budgie.
