I don't know whether or not this model is available in UK, but they don't come any simpler than this.

This is the multipurpose, fancy and expensive one.

I don't have one, Moogie. It is hot and humid all the time here, and windows open all year round. If you have no luck with people responding, try looking on the old forum site - Barrie had a comprehensive thread there about air purifiers and humidifiers with everyone adding their own to the list - at least I think that was where it was. I'll have a look about if I get time a little later.

Was there a thread that was started some time ago about Purifiers as well? I can't seem to find one so didn't know if anybody could help with some ideas? Sorry for hijacking your thread Moogie!

I can't really help there, Moogie, as I have had no experience with any of these things. Sorry.

I don't see anything special in it at all, except for the VICKS brand name.

Although I have posted the pictures of only two, I have checked 17 types and their basic function looked the same to me.

A shape like this will help though. It can be easily placed outside a covered cage by making a small hole in the cloth or towel. This purpose can still be achieved in a cheaper model.
