The links on the first page for retired avian vet Alan Jones are now out-of-date. His current website (still under construction) is here: www.alanjonesbirdvet.com/On his original website he recommended Charlotte Hussey (who I also recommend), who now works for herself as Skylark Vets: www.skylarkvets.co.uk/

I'm not sure how to slot those in sweetpea, I normally put an area and address. Charlotte will still come under Kent/South East. She has no practice address as she is mobile & her van is the clinic, so contact details are: Telephone or text: 07443 929 395 E-mail: contact@skylarkvets.co.uk

Last year, she was the one who famously made about 16 visits over 14 days to keep him going through his annual extreme moult experience. I really can't fault her dedication! Without her home visits Bezukhov would probably have been hospitalised & there's no way he would have emotionally survived that & no way I could have fed him myself with a successful outcome. But yes, she does have a special interest in birds.

For the North West in Manchester, Salford they do tend to have avian specialists there:
Ashleigh Veterinary Centre 221 Upper Chorlton Rd, Manchester M16 0DE
They are reasonable priced I would say considering its a vets.

Valley Vets, Cardiff.
They have an avian and exotics vet called Tariq Abou-Zahr. He was wonderful with Randolph Carter and I really recommend him. He was very knowledgeable and came to Valley Vets after complete a 4 year internship at Great Western Exotics, in Swindon
He was based at Valley Veterinary Hospital in Gwaelod y Garth, Cardiff but now it is flooded he's based at Valley Vets, Bronllyn Road, Pentyrch, Cardiff, CF15 9QL Telephone: 029 20892113.
At the Veterinary Hospital he was available from 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday but I'm not sure if that's the same in Pentyrch. I will update when I have more details;
Tariq is on leave during March, preparing for further exams but they have an alternative avian and exotics vet covering for him.
