I just think they get their nasty out during the day. Glad the landlord told us they were going to change the wall paper here after we move because they are Chewing it raw in a few places above the curtain rails. My wife is starting to call PJ Stalker-P because he/she spends most of the day chasing PoPo around but at night they settle in real quick. Here they are ready for bed and this is how I find them in the morning with a nice cluster of poo under each.

Sounds flash! I have my sturdy orange rio. I can browse the net, write texta, make calls and take photos and that is enough for me. Using Linux on your puter I'd expect you to have an Android phone ;D Just seen this Matt. Why would you expect me to have an android phone?

PoPo&PJ are doing great. They are both starting their first molt with PJ about a week ahead of PoPo. They say pets start to look like their owners and now I believe it a little because PJ has a bald patch on his head. I make the hard-boiled egg recipe I saw here. They explored it a little the first time I gave it to them but yesterday was the third time and they gored themselves on it. I'm just so happy they are such good eaters now and they have plenty of choices with 2 kinds of seeds and millet out and each day a fresh veggie to choice from, well they don't actually choose, they just eat them all. They don't seem to like fresh fruits yet oddly enough but one of the seeds has dried fruit mixed in so I'm not worried about it, we'll just keep giving them the option. recently 6pm has been their hyper active time. Each day around this time they get all excited and start biting my neck, but I got a head band I wear on my neck for it so no problem. Wife tells me that when I'm out of the home they are very relaxed but when I come home they get very excited. She's so jealous ;D And I'll admit, I like them liking me more

So funny. You must look a treat in that headband. I'm seeing something tennis, like John McEnroe. Or is it much more deeply weird?
When my mum was here, she had to wear a big hat inside, and fingerless gloves. He kept biting her ears and fingers.

I actually do have a tennis headband that my wife gave me that I look silly in, but people with hair don't appreciate how well hair keeps sweat from falling off your head. No, I don't play tennis. Those kinds are useless to cover the neck though, I use my wife's hair band that she uses when she puts on her makeup, equally as silly. Here's a pic of the seed mixes I give them. The one on the top is just a basic mix of 9 small seeds and some dried apple. The one on the bottom is a bigger mix of various seeds, grasses, coconuts, carrots, banana, and rice with A,D,E, added which I believe is the color coating on some of the seeds. They love the green ones which should be vitamin D.

It looks very tasty and tempting Robert. We sometimes prepare steamed vegetables with boiled eggs PoPo&PJ are doing great. They are both starting their first molt with PJ about a week ahead of PoPo. They say pets start to look like their owners and now I believe it a little because PJ has a bald patch on his head. ;D ;D ;D

PJ is well into his first molt and I've seen some change in their behavior this week which I assume is because of the molt. They are a little less active and return to their cage to rest during the day where before they only returned to eat during the day. He's also graduated from his Stalker-P nickname and has stopped chasing PoPo all day long which is cool because it's given PoPo more time to bond with us. I could swear that she sometimes still hides from him by perching behind my head and my shoulders, slowing moving to the right or left to stay hidden. We've stopped giving the vitamin drops to PoPo so you can see white feathers around her beak replacing the stained ones, hopefully this molt will take care of the rest. She's at the peak of her flight capabilities this week and will start to lose the flight feathers again. For people who haven't seen it before, the new feathers grow in but don't have any strength so they start to become misaligned and loose soon.

Really enjoy your photo blog updates, Robert. Lovely to see them growing up so well. Apart from the feathers, PoPo seems to have come through everything okay.

PoPo is lucky that she seems to have a non sever case of it. From my understanding it doesn't affect their organs so no long term danger. The ones who have it bad and can't fly at all always have the dangers of falling.

Usually Pj doesn't let us give him a scratch but this week he's been coming up and tilting his head to show us where it's itchy. One of the nice things about getting birds so young is that there is no training or taming process. I understand that people have to train their birds to sit on the finger but these guys just do it naturally, they seem to be most relaxed when they are sitting on me somewhere. Downside is getting sugar on a lot. Because I'm bald the worst is when they sugar on my head because it actually feels kind of nice.
