Here are some photos of two different styles of coconut toys I've made over the years. They were pretty simple to make, but you do need a hole saw attachment for your electric drill to cut the large holes in the lower version.

Those look great. Unfortunately I have a hen that would try and nest in them if I made them (my husband would make them!) but I love them!

Yes Marianne, that would/could be a problem, I've always had boy budgies. ;D
Over the years I've made lots of DIY toys, so I'll try and dig up some photos of other toys I've made.
