Hi everyone The 5 eggs my budgie layed I think are infertile. I am 100% sure they are infertile. Egg 1 ke sure. Egg 2 Egg 3 Egg 4 Egg 5 The youngest egg (egg 5) is about 15 days old, so I am sure that they are not fertile. I just want another opinion Nicola

If the youngest egg is 15 days old then they are all deffinitely clear

Sorry to say but all infertile, I hate when that happens you wait so long for them to lay then none fertile

No problem Carl I wasn't expecting them to be fertile since the male is smaller than the female. When I saw them mating, he was mostly mating on her wing lol ;D Thank you grimcoll. Didn't think they were! Nicola

Oh rite I have a pair were the female is a lot larger and they do it fine, I also have a one legged budgie which also can do it properly as I candled the eggs

The pairs with first infertile clutch mostly have the second one fertile

Hi BB. Thankyou for replying this is the females second time breeding. Her first time she produced 2 chicks. But this is the males first time. And they were mother and son (I didn't want them to pair up) so after hearing Barrie's story (He got blind chicks when he bred mother and son) I don't want to risk it again Nicola
