Hi everyone, are these little nest-mates too young to tell their sex yet..am I too early? Ive also added pics of their backviews, so if anyone would care to describe their mutation as well, I'd be so very grateful. Many thanks in advance

To tell the sex of chicks of this age accurately it is usually necessary to look at them several times during the day because the temperature affects the colour of the cere. To tell from just one photo can only be a guess. My guess would be male on the left and female on the right
They look like greywings or possibly clearwings

the one on left male and hen on the right! you can just see the difference in the cere colouring!

Thankyou so much! I took the photo in natural light - I'd noticed that at different times the ceres look different shades, so thanks for explaining why Nev Will post another pic when they're a little older.
