Just went to check on pair 2 as earlier noticed one of the chicks out of the nest which he was again just now I go to put him back in the nest through the hole he refused I was thinking strange :/ go to open the nest box door to find both other chicks have been plucked on the backs of there heads and shoulders and backs as well as under there wings. I'm thinking I need to remove them don't I surely that's the best choice for them

They are 18 20 21 days and the male doesnt sleep in the nest would they not get cold? They should be fine out of the nest box as they will huddle together in a corner to keep warm, dad will feed them, put a jam jar lid of water on the floor near them, is mum doing large poops? If so she want's them out to lay,you don't have much choice if she is feather plucking................

I agree that removing the hen is the option now. You can either remove the hen or move the father and chicks to another similar cage.

If you can put a chick hide on cage floor, you can move them to any cage. This is if you think that the hen is going to lay. Otherwise remove the hen.

Take the hen out, The cock will feed the chicks. Don't try to move the cock and the chicks to another cage because he might not look after them if the surroundings are unfamiliar. If the hen is a feather plucker it would be best not to breed from her again

I am sorry for your little ones The regrowth of feathers depends on how badly they are plucked. If it is only the actual feathers and no down, it will not take much long.
