Sarah, what a great idea! P&P would not make it feasible for me, but for you girls in the UK, why not?!?! Skysmum! Sometimes it wouldn't matter though, surely? At home? No-one else to see? Daughters can be too frank, sometimes ............ lucky I have got boys then!

Lee is beginning to understand how we feel about our budgies! Is p+p really that bad to Australia Hezz? Skysmum- I wear a lot of pink, I have hair slides with glitter on them, sparkly bags, a pair of purple patent shoes...If something comes with glitter I have to have it. The looks on my boys faces says it all, sometimes they won't even walk with me. It is a plan with no drawbacks if you look at it that way!!!

I am only guessing, Sarah, but I imagine it would send a reasonably priced T-shirt into the upper reaches of my budget. Oh, poor you, abandoned by your offspring already, and you are not even old and decrepit ............... (yet)

Ha ha, Hezz,It's coming though I can feel it,.... Kids make you feel old regardless of actual numbers though don't they? My boy and yours are the same age so we probably have the same issues!

He is a pretty good young man (kid), and I still get cuddles, but there always those rolling eyes, wooden face if something is not to be spoken of, etc. I think my 12yo has become a little bit more cuddly, though, and a good thing as he was never big on cuddles as a young boy. I have warned him he isn't allowed to leave home before I die as I can't even work the TV without him around. The days when turning on the tele involved just that; not also the DVD player and stereo AND the set top box which has a mind of its own, apparently.
