I know apple and willow are safe, but which other woods are safe for budgies?
I have no willow and the apple tree isn't old enough to be able to use the wood. Hopefully my neighbour will let me have some of hers.

Do you know if hazel is safe, Barrie? I think that might be what my granddad used as supports for a perch but I'm trying to find out for sure in case I need to change it. This is the wood: Sorry about the rubbish photos.

Thank you, Hezz That gives me a choice of three types of wood if I beg some apple branches from my neighbour, because I'm sure granddad won't mind me using some hazel and we have a magnolia tree too, which is safe according to Barrie's list. Whoot! Now I'm really excited about building
