Hi
Just treated my bonkers 9-year-old to having his claws brought down to a safe level so he doesn't keep getting stuck on his cage bars or velcroing himself to the floor...
Advised to upgrade the basic 1.2cm-diam wood perches to 2cm. He has a half-width pumice perch but never uses it. He needs full-width as he uses both widths of the 2 other basic wooden perches. Ideally therefore after 30cm pumice for health & so he doesn't eat it - probably even longer if possible as the current perches stick out & he uses those protuberances. Any ideas who would would stock/deliver a 30cm pumice in the UK?
Thanks David

Mick
It's for a budgie - seen that & it is too big a diameter. It says designed for large parrots.

Personally I'm not so keen on pumice perches, or any type of sand/ trimming perch. If you do want to get sometihng to keep his nails down then take a look at www.scarlettsparrotessentials.co.uk Scarlett is great so if you need any advice then email her and I'm sure she will be able to help. One note though is to keep the perch lower down in the cage, not at the top otherwise they will sit on it all the time and it can hurt their feet
