Budgies don't have fingers like us so they feel things with their beaks

thing to a budgie. It appears he's possibly bored & just
passing the time. This is only an assumption based on
the limited info provided.....B.J.

She bites whatever on top of he cage e.g the attachments also because the base is see threw is forever running back and forth on the bottom like she is trying to get out. But this makes my dogs look at tha cage soon as they look she jumps onto a perch may I add they can't get to the cage. We let her out of a evenin to fly around the living room but mainly looks in the mirror at herself or sits on top of the curtain rail and looks down

Its a typical hen thing, they like to try and destroy anything they can Maybe buy her some shredder toys? A good place I buy toys like that from is www.scarlettsparrotessentials.co.uk This should give you some idea of what to look for

You can sooo make your own lizb, as long as the paper or card is clean and free of glue etc. Mine love nothing more than a piece of willow, apple wood or eucalyptus to destroy, as Rachael said its very much a girl thing, they are born destroyers ;D and will work on something until its appropriately destroyed

I have to agree with Skysmum regarding the wood for things to chew. I am not a big fan of giving them paper or card to chew up, but I do have a great supply of bark and branches for them to chew on, so I am a little spoilt too. Try to reconstruct their natural enviroment, rather than go for man-made, if possible.
