Dave has finally found his spot in budgie heaven on the 18th of July during the night  Davey passed from we think old age. He had a great life with his mate, who he had been "married"to about 8 years. Davey lived a long life, all the way up to 10-11 years. We are all going to miss him dearly, especially his mate Tess. Poor Tess... Davey had a lovley long life, and was a beautiful budgie. He will be flying good and high now you can bet on that. I really hope Tess doesn't pine, she will need extra tlc from you. Will you be getting her a new friend- not that you could replace Dave of course.

Of course he was, Nicola. They are all beautiful in their own way, but I am sure Davey had just as big a personality.

Rest in Peace, dear sweet Davey. He's with his friends now in Heaven, talking about the good times he had with you, Nicola, and about his lovely Tess. No matter their age, they leave us much too soon. But Davey had a nice long life, filled with love and good care.
