I've got some close up shots of my bird's plumage. If you click on them, you'll see the detail at full size. The strength and delicacy of the feathers really are beautiful. How fine they are just down by his legs. The perfect, tight stripes on the back of his head. And down the back.

Lovely feathers stace:-) Yes, it is so amazing to me how they are so flexible and durable at the same time! God knew what these birds needed when he made their extraordinarily complex coverings.
Lol, I also have a feather box, mostly Lizzie's feathers though because Ski's are white hence dirty:-)
