hi guys quick question, Sweeties cere seems to be peeling around her nostrils, the bits that have peeled are a whiteish colour, not oozing or sore looking and not crusty. also a very small area is this normal? her feathers are looking a bit frazzled at the mo too so not sure if shes due a molt or somthing if anyone has any ideas let me know

Hen's ceres go through different stages, depending on their age and breeding condition. She may also be about to moult.
It's a good idea to post a good clear close-up pic with the camera on macro setting. It's much easier to see what's going on rather than just going on a written description.

Lol, BB ;D
Munchy's cere is doing that a little bit too, Sweetie, and he's moulting. It did it the last time he moulted. Might be because he rubs his head on things a lot to scratch his itchy head during the moults in our case, though.

Munchy's on his second one of the year, likely triggered by the recent good weather. My nan keeps hoovering up after him and telling him for making a mess, which prompts him to preen out another loose feather and drop it on the freshly cleaned floor XD He's so naughty. He's lucky she loves him XD
