She likes to hand upside down in my finger and pull my nail which hurts so I am bein a wimp but at least we have progress I guess and I confident I could get her I I needed to for medical reasons which is the most important thing

Ah yes I know how you feel. I am handtaming 8 babies at the moment and six of them love to nibble, chew, and bite my fingers. It can get painful at times. As your confidence builds with Winnie and she learns that biting doesn't get her anywhere then you will be able to take off the gloves Don't let anyone tease you for wearing them now, budgie bites hurt! Hey have you rung either of the breeders I told you about?

I'm certainly not laughing. My boy bites hard enough when he wants to, so I wouldn't like to try a hen. Luckily he's a sucker for millet so I can avoid the times he'll bite me by getting him to jump up for that. Munchy likes to bite, then quickly re-bite, and he'll keep doing it so that he's lunging, bites, lets go, and repeats within the space of a second, digging in the point of his beak repeatedly. According to my boyfriend his bites don't hurt as much now, and sometimes he lunges but doesn't follow through. Hopefully Winnie will learn that biting is a no-no and will be friendlier to your fingers Good luck!

I'm not laughing either, in fact I may follow your lead!
My little lady, Pig, bit the hell out of my finger yesterday. I felt so sad about it afterwards!
