The youngest chick is now 24 days and I'm concerned that her parents have stopped feeding her, she is shouting for food all the time. The cock is feeding his mate but stopped feeding the chicks. He is mating with the hen a few times a day and she is doing large poops so I think an egg is due. She's just pushing past the chick to get into the nest box ignoring her crys for food. I have put millet in the box but she won't be getting any fluids. Also in 3 or 4 days I want to transfere them into a nursery cage, as I do not want any more eggs should I leave the hen in the smaller cage on her own or a few days and leave the chicks with the cock? If she lays in the meantime I will replace the egg with a marble.

Remove the nest box and leave the them together in the breeding cage for a few more days before shifting them to the nursery cage. Hopefully the pair will attend to their chicks once there is no nest box or further breeding chances.
