Got these 2 little beauties last night white one I have named LACEY the little Lilac I still havent settled on a name.. I am hoping its a cock bird but he`s very young . We think Lacey is hen by her peck lol Got them from the same breeder as Polly and Jenny he lives next door to a freind of mine and we got talking to him last week and he told us to go and see the new ones he had, and when I saw the colours he had I just had to have the white one and the other one is really a lilac with whittish wings and a yellow head Photos are not very good will try and get clearer ones The white is Lacey named after white Lace

They are very cute and have beautiful colors . You can see them in person but both appear male to me in picture 1 and 3.

Reason we think the white is a hen is when the breders wife picked her up she hung on and bit hard . but she hasnt bitten me hard ..yet lol

What lovely birds Julie. You could call the un-named one Cagney??? He he. Not sure if you are old enough to remember the t.v. programme - Cagney & Lacey???

90 % on white one being a dominant pied hen...! Other one is most likely a Yellow faced recessive pied
Really pretty babies..how much were they? and how old?

I love the pieds and hopefully she will produce some pretty chicks when I (fingers crossed ) breed her next year
the pied was a bit more expensive at £20 because a few people were after her but the mauve one was £10

Actually the white budgie is a recessive pied, not a dominant and they both appear to be males but better photos will confirm it. They are both very beautiful
