To whoever wears the techno trousers.
For the past day, I keep getting this Proboards message whenever I navigate around the forum.
"Unable to save quote 0 due to limitation on cookie size. To increase storage capacity consider using a browser that supports a global storage mechanism such as Internet Explorer 5.0+ or Firefox 2.0+."
I click 'OK" to the message, it lets me navigate one page or perform one action, then pops up again.
My current browser is safari. It's not happening to me on other sites.

It says that the allocation of space allowed for cookies store on the computer, is limited.
1: Click the settings icon on the right side of Safari window. It will be a wheel like icon. 2: Click on "Preferences" 3: Click on "privacy" tab, the human icon. 4: Click on "Remove All Website Data". 5: Click on "remove Now" on the next window. 6: Restart Safari, preferably system.
This should clear the cookie storage data on your computer and resolve the problem.

I've done that, BB, and the message is still there!
I'm off to yoga, so I'll check back when I get back home in a couple of hours.
I've also got Firefox somewhere on my system so I'll see if it's happening on that browser as well.

Then Safari's privacy settings must be too tight. Try another browser.

Okay, trying Firefox. Seems to be working okay, but I've just had an advertisement playing with sound somewhere. Weird.

Something seriously weird going on with Safari. I've just had Shockwave error notices that kept popping up to infinity! I'll have to get techno-budgie onto it.

Thanks, BB. Finally fixed, I hope.
It was Adobe's useless plug-ins causing me problems. It was making Safari go completely mental!

That is weird..
I will put a message on proboards support.
a similar thing happens to me occasionally but I just empty the cache and cookies (as BB said) and it works again fine.

Stace. Have you tried deleting all of your "quotes" ?
Go down to th bottom when replying and click on "view quotes" and then "delete all quotes"

Stace. Have you tried deleting all of your "quotes" ? Go down to th bottom when replying and click on "view quotes" and then "delete all quotes" What will deleting the quotes do? When I click on 'reply' and it sends me onto the separate boxed reply section, I have no 'view or delete quote' options. Only when I click on 'add quote' inside YOUR message. I did that (inside your message) but then I only got your quote in the View/Delete quotes list below, not all the thread quotes. (I don't usually use the forum's multiple quoting system as I find it confusing, so I may be doing something wrong)

Well it seems to be saying there is no space to save quotes
"Unable to save quote 0 due to limitation on cookie size."
