The one you will have seen will be a grey rhea Sue. Rheas are either grey or white, sometimes the grey can look a bit brown. This is my males nest of eggs. and here are a few of his chicks. as you can see the eggs are quite big!

They were laid by 7 hens. It is alot of eggs, once his nest is full I start taking them off him as he wouldnt be able to cover them all! and sell them on ebay !! ;D

I have 3 cocks running with 7 hens, but my dominant male is greedy and tends to keep them all for himself People mainly buy the eggs for hatching or blow them to decorate. I also sell eggs for eating ... but not on ebay, people like them for making special cakes for weddings birthdays etc. If anyone is interested I have a video clip of one of the hens laying an egg for the male by his nest.
