We have a new F10 product out in the market place, not only is it the best avian disinfectant but you can now buy it with red mite killer included. If you are a budgie lover you will then have this product in your first aid box always

Hi Barrie.
I remember reading something you wrote on the old forum regarding disinfectants, I'm just about to order some F10 SC but I'm sure you said you used two types?
I think it was an answer to my natural perch question and you said you treated them twice, can't remember what the other cleaning stuff was.
Thanks.

Probably a silly question but how long does this F10 SC stuff keep for?
Say I want to dilute it to the recommended dose and stick it in a spray bottle, would you be able to use this over a few weeks rather than making a new batch every time you clean?

Excellent, thanks Barrie. So in theory the little 100ml bottle I ordered could end up lasting me a year! Very good value for money.

My f10 fc arrived today.
I'm just wondering what ratio of dilution people use? 2, 4 or 8ml?
Think 8 might be a bit extreme but not sure.

luke you will use 2ml in one litre of water
The recommended dilution rates of F10®SC - These dilution rates mean that F10 is one of the most cost-effective disinfectant ranges on the market.
General disinfection at 1:500 (2ml in 1 litre)
High level disinfection against bacteria, fungi and most viruses at 1:250 (4ml to 1 litre)
For use against the most resistant viruses such as Parvovirus or PBFD at 1:125 (8ml in 1 litre)
