It certainly puts my postage stamp sized garden to shame. That belongs to a stately home. I could never keep up to one that sized. Looks beautiful. Thanks OP its getting harder each year especially with everything else that goes on. Turning the bottom into a wild garden has helped though, apart from mowing a little path i can just let it get on with it , that's my excuse anyway

God these pictures are BEAUTIFUL skysmum! What a show of a garden, I bet it is alive with insects and birds. So so pretty, you must have worked very hard to get it looking so pretty When we moved in 16 years ago it was over 100ft of brambles sam, apart from the rhododendron and the apple tree of course ive re designed and planted everything and my back has paid the price . Ive just got it now where i can go out and clip and tuck and OH helps a bit now . Of course the house was original 1930's state too so that has taken just as much work but ive loved every min of it

It all sounds absolutely divine!!! Can we see some of the house too??? I know it must have been a lot of hard work, but then you can sit back and say "I did that!!" Our garden is just too, too huge and I know what you mean by "your back ". I empathise ..... completely.

Ohhh go on then, as its you Remember much of the work that we did you cant see, new roof, new windows and doors, re-wiring, re-plumbing, new damp course. wood worm treatment and re plastering to name a few. We have kept as many of the original features as we could save, fire places with open fires and the picture rails in every room also all the original internal doors. I can only put my hand on a few pics but we have more somewhere Ok Garden after i spent the summer clearing it Kitchen before Now, the only thing left to do is extend it but that can wait. Dining room then Now Lounge then Now And if you can imagine the hall with the ceiling and wall plaster hanging down, this is it now Hope you enjoyed, i did, but we are thinking of moving now, id love to do it again

Alfie!!!!!! Thank you , yes that's the conservatory which we added and yes its the mutt Alfie, i took the pic yesterday he is still here , i was thinking what a nice rug he would make . I just get itchy feet, this is the third house that we have tackled but the one that we have done the most work on and i will find it hard to leave. We still have things to do so its a question of whether to do it or move on, i cant decide , time will tell.
