I put news paper on the floor of there cage last night so I could get a better idea of the types of poops eagle was doing. As reasontly I've not been putting anything down, I switched from paper to towel after eagle seemed to be eating the paper and ada had her bad foot. Then kept forgetting to wash them and kept running out so gave up.
Anyway this morning there was a few wet poops with faeces in them. Then when I left for work a few hours later there were big wet patches. So panicking called the vets to book him in on Monday as his vet only works mornings. But sods law he is off all next week! So he is booked in with the other exotic vet that he works with on Wednesday but if he is not better will try to get one with her at a different practice on Monday.
So just got back as I went to a mates house after work but called my mother to check on him. Looked in on them and there are a few smaller wet patches but one patch with a huge poop in it was under where ada was sitting. Picked her up as they normally poop when I do but nothing, so picked eagle up and nothing unroll I put him on my shoulder and he pooped what looked quite normal for him just a bit wet. But then ada did a poop and it looked quite wet!
So now I think she could be pooping watery poops too now. What could cause both of them to get this? I've taken out there millit as its one I pinched from work that's been in a box for months so I'm wondering if they have caught something from that. That is the only change I can think of.

There about half way threw a box of trill so don't think it could be a dodgy batch.

It's unlikely to be the trill. Could be the millet I suppose, have you put them on seed and water only for now?

Yep just there trill, New millit from shop and water, and the seed treat sticks that they have demolished 2 eaten in two days!
Been poop watching and ada is pooping normal so that other poop must have landed in one of eagles puddles. All eagles poop in the last hour have been very watery. Neither wanted to come out for budgie time but eagle did get excited when I was drying my hair.

I would take out the seed treat and leave them with seed and millet only. Those things are not the best in a dietary sense, and I don't think they would be good for upset digestive systems.

Ok will do.
Eagle still has water poops but just checked them an there's no big puddles so far like yesterday. I think he is getting paranoid as when I'm talking to him about his poops he keeps turning his head to look at the floor lol.
Going to put a camera up today to see what he gets up to.

Good luck with him and the vets, PP. Do you have a way of giving him extra warmth? Sounds like he is needing it at times.

saw the other exotic vet as the one he saw last is away. she checked his poop under the microscope and nothing except of a bit of not digested propperly food. she said said to swich from baytrill in water to giving it directly in his beak as he proberly not getting enough of it. she said his simpotom sounded like a bacterial infection but as she couldnt find anything in his poop and as he is goingh up and down it would be unlikley. so another week of bayril by beak and keep him warm and if no better i can have his poop sent off for testing to see if there is any nasty bacteria there.
In the day i put there cage at the bottom of my bed and open the door as eagle likes to sit ontop of th ecage and he can squeeze threw the bars so safer to let him go up there than have him get stuck in the bars and that is next to my radiator and my room is the warmer one in the house so im going ot compleatly clear the floor and block under the bed off so i can put there cage on the floor infrount of the radiator.
If he is still the same ill be going to england so a friend will have him but will have to put his meds in his water again but atleast there house is toasty warm all the time, too warm for me sometimes but he will be nice and warm there at least.
But mammy is in the dog house today as she made him sleep alone in his holliday cage so i could see exaclty who was pooping what, then took him to work alone so all the poops would be his. so no kisses for me today.
