I need to buy a new sack of seed - recommendations

Hi guys

I need to get the fiends a new sack of seed in the next few days. Preferably a 20kg one.

I would like to find the best value and obviously best quality.

I have limited funds but I don't want to buy something inferior.

I would like something with more Canary seed if poss.

This is what I got previously and it was pretty good. (I bought it from the hoof and hound website though) But can I get better?

If you can get it i would say Bucktons 50/50 excellent quality, good clean seed.
I've found the quality is better when it comes straight from them!!

I pay 17 pound for it in a pet shop i have gone back too, i cant be doing with seed suppliers just recently had bad experience with bags out of date and being tampered with.

Whatever I get I'll have to order online as I don't have a car and cannot afford a taxi. There is no way I could carry 20kg myself!

Marriane i used to carry my 20kg sacks half a mile to my house, can be a struggle when you do not have transport! If a 20kg bag is say roughly 20 pound on the net how much is the postage?

Well I can get a sack of my normal seed for £23.99 (delivered by courier - no extra charge)

Yes Marianne im ranked as one of the strongest grips in the UK, i thought of it as training.

Thats not bad. Have you tried either versa laga or Johnson and jeff?

Barrie i have searched high and low for a seed merchant that sells johnson and jeff and even versa laga but none do it only bucktons and countrywide.

I haven't heard of them. Do you have a link? Do they deliver?

I already bought a sack from Hoof and Hound and it came a couple of days ago. But if the other guys are good then I will consider them for next time.

couldnt find the copdock but this site also sells budgie seed etc
