As some of you already know Eagle has been ill these last 5-6 weeks and that he passed away on Saturday morning. It would have been his 2nd birthday in 3 days. I know he isn't suffering any more but I just miss him so much, he was my baby boy. The worst part is that I wasn't here for him when he needed me as I was away Friday night to Saturday evening at a mouse show. I really wish I hadn't gone. I just feel like I let him down.
No you haven't. It was the fate. You took care of him in the best way possible, and this is what matters. The most important thing to remember now, as you said yourself, is that he is not suffering any more.
My Birds My Foods & Supplements Always treat your pets as family members. We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures (Quran 21:107) There is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Register a thing (Quran 6:38)
Oh i am so so sorry-i TOTALLY agree with BB and Marianne-in no way ATALL did you let him down, you tried every thing you possibly could and more,he knew how much you loved him, there was no way you could have known this was going to happen so remember the good times and that he is now at peace with out any pain...he will always be with you in heart and mind xxxxx
If tomorrow starts without me don’t think we’re far apart because every time you think of me I’m always in your heart x
Eagle is watching over you and Ada now, saying "Thank you for all your love and good care." His life was short, but it was filled with happy times. I hope those memories will make you smile. I will miss you, Eagle.

So sorry to read this, PP. But you had fought long and hard to give him the happiest and healthiest life possible. Don't blame yourself, please. Poor Ada, those two could never quite work out their relationship to be harmonious, but I bet she is missing Prince Eagle. RIP Eagle.
