Well, yesterday I didn't manage to catch him at all. Today I did but I had to use the cloth because if you don't catch him the first few times he just turns his beak at you. His bites don't bother me but it's hard enough already without him biting my palm. He doesn't know if my hand is going to try and catch him or not, but he knows what the cloth is for, so I get instant panic with that method instead of eventual panic. Anyway, I took him out, told him he was a good boy, gave him a kiss and quite a few bites of millet before returning him to his cage. He shrieked like crazy except when he was eating the millet.

I had to catch him again today to clip his claws. It was quicker than the first time because I started with the cloth instead of trying with my hand. He quietened down whilst I was trimming his nails. Afterwards he seemed nervous of going into his cage for a while after I'd let him out.
My only concern is that he's flying around the cage like mad and each time he gets a little blood on his wings from damaged flights :/ One of them came out just now whilst he was flying and was broken off like when he was a chick :/ Mind you... he used to crash into walls and such back in those days...
