Sadly Polly passed away yesterday afternoon She'd not been right for a very long time, but in the end it was really fairly quick and she never really became fluffed up and sickly looking which I am glad for. She is burried next to the newly planted willow on the allotment
I was worried that Fuzzy would be really lost without her as they have been firm partners for more than 2 years, but after a few hours spell where he looked really sad and lost, Mega and Freddie went to pay him some attention and snapped him out of his depression and he was soon flying around with the boys Its amazing to watch their social interactions and see how they look after each other in bad times.
Rest in Peace, sweet beautiful Polly. Keep her cute face and happy song close to your heart, and she will be with you forever. Nat, your budgies are a wonderful family, always looking out for each other. People can learn alot from birds. I am so sorry for your loss.

Thanks guys Sometimes I see Fuzzy looking a bit bored and sitting alone, but when the green leaves get hung up at lunch time it gives him something else to think about as he loves his greens and then he starts getting chirpy with his boyfriends again
