Depends on age and quality. Got a 2011 white lacewing sister to my champion, hasn't down jack, she's in the sale cage. Could flog her for $100 plus but happier to sell for $10 as a pet.

Hey there Corie. This winter we're having is a bit of a non-event so far. I'm guessing you've got the same endless sunshine Sydney has.

Joey looks just like this last guy. A bit more feathers around the beak area. Is this fellow sort of laid back with life? Alert when startled a bit? I suppose I am asking about his temperament.

I understand it is pretty well accepted that the exhibition birds are more docile, less active.

I can well believe that now. I didn't realize there would be so much of a difference. Whiskers is a shock to the system. I nice refreshing shock mind you.

I wonder if Bailey falls a bit more to that side, he is a lot less energetic than I have encountered before

LOL , laid back he lives on the central coast of Australia. His showmanship is great, need to keep that temperament and add size.

I understand it is pretty well accepted that the exhibition birds are more docile, less active. These are traits we breed into our birds with selective breeding. The bird could be the best in show(BIS)but if it wont show itself you will be beaten by a lesser bird.
