Of course you miss him, Helen; he was a member of your family. Hugs to you, and hopefully with time you will be able to remember your happy times together with smiles. Take care. xx

The silence is deafening at the moment, and I hate the non-existent birdy mess, seed husks ect. Ive kept a few of Tink's toys for sentimental reasons, but buried him with his favourite, his weighted mirror ball & my daughter wanted his cage cover, its been a comfort for her, everything else ive had to get rid of, even the cage. Thankyou again. xxx

Aw Helen I feel for you. Time will help mend your sadness I'm sure. I hope that in the future one or 2 budgies find their way into your heart as Tink did, as you are a wonderful budgie mum and any budgie would be very lucky to have you xx

I am glad you are able to contemplate the future with more feathered friends. It seems once a budgie-house, always a budgie-house. xxx

When you're ready, you will find another bird or two to share your love and good care. That would make Tink happy.

It's just so sad, huh. And we are the only ones who know how much it hurts to lose these special feathered friends.

Maybe sooner than i had originally anticipated, I hate the quietness and as Hezz said once a budgie home always a budgie home, ive ordered some F10, and looking at new cages, will do some ground work to find a reputable breeder in the Swansea area, im sure there is one who posts here, but cant for the life of me think who the person is. We will get a colour variant very different to Tink, to build new friendships xx

Good idea to go for a totally new budgie look, I think. You know a newie is not going to replace Tink, but I do think a colour change just makes it that little bit easier. I do suggest making sure the rest of the family are ready for a new bird too. It can be a big transition for all concerned. Let us know when you find your new friend.

This is a little late, but I just wanted to say how sorry I am about what happened to Tink. He was a cute little bird and I know how much you loved him. I'll certainly miss seeing his pictures around this forum.
Apparently this hasn't been a good week for budgies because my friend lost her budgie just today. =I Rest in peace Tink and Edd. =C
Take care, tinksmum.
