Thank you. Misty passed away in May just a few weeks short of turning 15, he was a dear, dear companion who was with me during some really tough years: when I was really ill I was unable to do anything for myself & literally the only thing I could do was watch him or have him sit on my chest (yes, in bed as I was stuck there!) so losing him was extra tough. Now I have Brodie & am enjoying getting to know him too & while still ill I'm a fair bit better so can do more with him re training which is brilliant too! And it's fab having this forum to see what others (owners & their feathered friends!) get up to!
It's a very beautiful frame from some good people.
My Birds My Foods & Supplements Always treat your pets as family members. We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures (Quran 21:107) There is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Register a thing (Quran 6:38)
Im very sorry to hear of your ill health, but glad to hear that you are improving. 15yrs is an excellent age, you were certainly doing something right for Misty to live to such an old age in budgie terms. Im sure Misty would approve of your new baby Brodie ××
Thanks Tinksmum, I hope Misty would approve of Brodie, I think he would! Hope yours are settling in well. You'll never forget Tink but it's nice to have a new pal (or 2!) in your life to get to know isn't it?
