Its with great sadness I tell you that my new baby darling Oggie has passed away at just 10wks old. His poops became slightly abnormal yesterday, today they were watery brown stains, I was going to take him to the vets 1st thing in the morning but sadly he didnt hold out, this evening he had 2 big seizures, the 1st paralysed from the neck down, the 2nd took his short life, these happened less than 10 minutes apart. Even though he was only with us for 15days, he was such a sweet bird, I cant help but feel he must have been ill when we got him as he was so much quieter than his friend Mojo. We will hold him in our hearts forever, my poor baby, heartbroken.

Rest in Peace, dear adorable Oggie. You left us much too soon. Your short, sweet life was filled with love and you will live on forever in out hearts. I can hardly believe you are gone. Hugs to you.

Oh, Helen, my heart goes out to you. Poor dear sweet little Oggie. I feel that he was one not destined for a long life ......... this is the sort of thing that cannot be predicted. Everyone will be hurting, my condolences to you all. Rest in Peace, Oggie. You have left us far too young.

Thankyou all, we have buried our precious baby Oggie next to our beloved Tink, they will be together flying high. Still cant believe it, random tears, such a cruel world at times.

Gosh, that's beyond harsh, so soon after you got him too, I'm really sorry Tinksmum. He's left his own little footprints (or feathers) on your heart though & he'll always be part of your life story & he knew plenty of love in his too short life. How's the other one coping? X

I just went and adopted another budgie in honor of Oggie. I thought to myself, if God took Oggie to Budgie heaven it must mean some other budgie needs savings and hopefully Oggie as his guardian angel in this world. I hope you dont mind me calling him Oggie

X Mojo Is doing pretty well, I cleaned the cage with f10 last night before I allowed her back in, she looked a bit lost, looked about inside the cage then back at me, so i stayed up with her, she sat with me for ages. She was quieter than usual this morning so i left radio on for her while i went to work, she has been quite happy and chirpy since I got home about 3.30pm, having fun with an empty toilet roll tube, Iits as if she is trying to cheer us both up. We have vets tomorrow to get her checked over and treated if need be as a precaution. xx
