Thanks Millie From what everyone has said, it seems like quite a common thing so I'm trying not to worry too much When it happens during the day, she climbs back up the cage looking rather sheepish and embarrassed, just like Sid! Sometimes she even pecks Melman when she climbs back up.. maybe just in case he was thinking of laughing at her The sense of humour is spreading I see. Yes Sid does that too, it's the embarrassment and having been seen I think I wonder.....do budgies laugh?

I'm pretty sure Marge laughs when I hoover and she makes a mess within minutes! It's probably more of an evil chuckle than happy laughter though!

Apparently rats laugh. Heard about it on radio recently. Anyone up for a PhD on this one?

Apparently rats laugh. Heard about it on radio recently. Anyone up for a PhD on this one? Well it's not quite a PhD, but it's the next best thing.. I googled it Apparently rats laugh when you tickle them and rats that have been tickled regularly as babies, tend to carry on laughing at other things as they get older! How blooming cute is that!?
