Oh bless him! I know how you feel about those little whistles very tear jerking. My Mont used to have this little "wee-o-wee" she always used to do when I said goodbye to her if I was going out. She did it without fail every time! Even my OH couldn't believe it. One night I went to cover her up for the night and she gave me her little "wee-o-wee" sound. I said night night to her and not to be silly as I wasn't going anywhere. She passed away half an hour later. It breaks my heart to think she was saying goodbye to me like she already knew Oh, Sam.

Just been catching up on some posts as I haven't been on much.. I'm sorry to hear about your grandma Ruth but what a grand age to reach and such a strong lady to carry on through suffering. May she rest happy and at peace. I'm glad Pepito seems so be on the mend. Take your medicine like a good wee bud Pepito x

I couldn't talk about it without welling up until now! But I see it as she did her job well as I don't think I could live without budgies ever again (and that's got to be a good thing) Apologies but I feel I have hijacked your thread Ruth wasn't intentional! So glad you and Pepito are back, would love to see some piccies of the little fella

So true, Ruth, too many things we cannot know about regardless of how observant we try to be. I lost Fluoro suddenly as well, and at a very young age, and will always wonder how, what, why.
