wow this is amazing! They are so adorable. They play with each other like there is no existent difference between them! Amazing what animals show us! You can play with someone, even if he is different!

I love it! The fact that the magpie doesn't fly away might be an indication that it is having a wail of a time and what with the little dog rolling over in the "submissive" pose I think this is a joy to watch! Proves that we can learn something from this too

I love the way Maggie uses his feet the same way a dog does when it rolls over and plays. And the peg!

What an amazing video. I love the way the magpie lays on its back and kicks his legs like the dog does. Beautiful relationship.

That is so unusual, not just in the playing together, but magpies in general are such timid birds. Around here they are. It really is a joy to watch. I notice the unusual colouring of the magpie, is that normal for your neck of the woods? Hezz.

Amazing and its a JRT , but just a pup i think. Just goes to show if they are brought up together as youngsters a true bond can be formed .

Quite normal, OP. I would be fairly sure the magpie has been found, rescued and raised as a chick. It is part of the family. Moogie, maybe Ned just needs some lessons from our magpie friend? ? I think you are right, Skysmum, I think the dog is quite young too. So lovely to see that he knows just how far he can go without hurting.

This is gorgeous. Magpie definitely thinks it is half dog. So sweet and what a lovely bond they have.

Love the way that magpie lies on his back and kicks like a puppy.
