Hi pooklepops8! Are you a new member? We appreciate if people can tell us a little bit about themselves and/or their budgie(s) so we can welcome you and respond helpfully. Welcome anyway!
Your creation looks very inventive and your budgie looks extremely cute and also looks like he/she is enjoying it!
Some caution is to be expressed regarding the use of twine as some birds are prone to nibbling and ingesting bits which can cause gut problems. The jar (even filled with stones) looks quite small as a base though - is it stable enough?
We look forward to hearing more from you!

Welcome to the forums pooklepops. Nice looking young lady you got there, looks so much like my Violet.
Nice stand you got there for the little one. My lot would definitely love something like that.

Hey, I'm 14 years old and I have one budgerigar called Winnie She is now 8 months old and is quite a little character. She loves apples and having mist spray showers, she is never in her cage, always in the living room with us chirping away, especially in the mornings. She follows me around the house and comes to me when I call her over. The whole family enjoy spending time with her, I especially enjoy creating toys for my little feathers friend She hasn't been nibbling at it, to busy singing lol. But if she starts I will change the sticks, the "tree" is pretty stable as the stones are anchoring it down, I have added more due to it wobbling a bit when she flew away from it. I would hate or her to get hurt P.s yes I am a new member x

Thank you starlingqueen, how do you get the images to be displayed like that ? My pleasure. When you are on photobucket, where the list of links are on the right hand side, choose the bottom/last link and paste it like you did the other one.

Winnie is a sweet little girl, I'm sure you two will be great mates. One recommendation for your tree, try to find some thicker perches to put up as these ones are a little thin for her feet. You can see that in your second photo. The odd thinner one isn't a bad thing but her feet need more exercise and not the same size perch all the time, so thicker and thinner perches, rough and smooth bark, all help keep her feet exercised and healthy. The recommended thickness is so that your bird's feet go two-thirds of the way around the perch - take that thickness and then throw in some variations for good measure.
