Oh sweetie, I am so sorry! What a beautiful tribute - you have made the tears roll down my face. But try not to be sad that she has gone; be happy that you knew her for so long.
Rest in Peace, dear Tessie.

Thank you so much everyone xxx We had Tess for about 7 years but when we got her we didn't know her exact age but I'm guessing that she would have been about 8-9 years old this year. I miss her so much and I know the others do too. They understood when I told them that she wasn't coming back and not to forget her. They know. And they mourn for her. I recently bought a family tree with 10 photo spots before she died- but I still intend to include her in 1 of the 10 spots as the budgie family never felt more complete than it did before she died. She will live on no matter what x

Nic, I knew another beautiful Tess, a little orphan rescue pup who was my best friend for 15 years. Oddly or not, it was only after her passing that budgies came into my life. RIP the past Tess's of the world.
Of course you have to include her in your budgie family tree. That's like saying I wouldn't include Bluey ..... unheard of! Or even Fluoro, who I only had the pleasure of for three months. They all make an impact regardless. Hugs xxx
