I do agree with SQ regarding quarantining from the same aviary/breeder, as Jake has only been out of that same aviary for 3-4 days. Normally I am the doomsdayer from hell, telling all and any to quarantine their new birds, but in this case not. To me, it sounds as though Finn may have suffered a stroke or a fit, for his legs to suddenly collapse on him like that. Sorry to be way behind on this thread. Rip Finn Hello Beemo. Tracy, I am sure your little one will come round in short time. 3 year old's don't have long memories, he/she will move on to Beemo in no time, if that is any consolation. Regarding the cage, don't crowd it up too much with toys; the birds will appreciate being about to flit about without hitting toys more than having heaps to play with.

There is some right jokers on here. I'm glad that things are working out. I hope you are including your 3 year old in the funeral. I did this when my daughters guinea pig died, she settled down and accepted what had happened.

So sorry to hear about Finn, but good news about Beemo. I hope all goes well for you now. regarding your little boy- I had to go through something similar a few years back with my little boy when he experienced his first budgie passing. I told him that Sonic was far to special to stay on earth so he had to go to heaven. This might be useful to you to comfort him later on after the shock, or adapt it to suit you obviously! It sounds like your birdies are getting well and truly spoilt now!!
