One of my birds has started wheezing when breathing. Is this something serious do you think as there are no other signs. Is there anything I can buy that I can treat all my birds with just incase? Thanks

have you listened at the crop area for a clicking noise, air sac would cause this.................do you use ivermectin 0.1% twice a year serz?
It may be a goiter due to lack of iodine
Or it may be a respiratory problem that may need a course od ABs

Could you expand on the symptoms of a goiter Barrie. I am worried that one of my birds may have it through lack of iodine.

I recently had this problem in a few of my birds. It will be interesting to see what exactly is it and how it can be addressed.

We must all use ivermectin twice a year.
Iodine decficiency will cause a bird to develop a goiter , the birds voice will change an it will start to throw its head backwards to help it breathe

Thanks I will buy some of that straight away. Do I put it in the water?
As for the second thing you suggested there is no signs of that at all so that's good. Could it be down to them getting cold at all do you think?
