thanks, I've made them a salad with boiled egg for the last 2 nights and the emp egg food sprinkled on too.
the girlfriends just told me she had the rabbit in the house a few days ago and let it play with the blankett I use to cover the birds, could they have caught anything off that do you think?

My bird is really grumpy when the moult comes around. It sounds like a normal moult but you probably know best as it is your pet I hope everything turns out alright!

Hi,
Just to let you know, Timmy is looking a bit better now, he's not flying much but he's making plenty of noise and looking a bit happier.
He's also starting to show signs of new feathers, looking a little sore above the cere.
Thanks for the comments, ill let you know if anything changes.

Good! Does he have anything he can scratch his head on to help the itchyness? Also as the new pin feathers show, mist him with tepid water - can help the itching and also help remove the keratin covering the feather. Make sure he has plenty of time to dry off before bedtime. I have to go and do that for Sparky now.
