I think the genetics master class is helping. Is Bebe a clearflight pied? He is yellow based and the green seems deep, I wonder if he has a dark factor? At any rate he is a pied of some type. I think I actually learned something.

Well, I feel like the cad who started all this, and all I can say is - whatever Bebe is (and let us say He), it's right bird for Tanja. Hand-trained, already? Marvelous find. I think everyone agrees that this is a truly beautiful bird.

They are very impressive and we can see his cere is starting to have colors like Noahs. Noahs cere kind of looks like pearl. It has pinks and blues in it. I am so jealous it's warm there. Here we are knee deep in snow (not inside lol). It looks like he is amazed by what he sees doesn't it? Make sure the cage doesn't come apart I heard someone once lose a bird when the bottom of their cage came out.
You are very gracious to have taken so many photos and shared them. This has been like honey for me, Thanks.

You are very welcome phoebe, I am very happy that you enjoy my photos! So more will follow, that for sure Knowing that they make people happy makes it a lot easier to overload with photos lol Wow you are snowed in? Where do you live? I actually don't like cold weather. In Germany I always used to run around with a heating bottle in my arm he he he And yes Bebe does look as if he was impressed by what he saw out there. But sadly his friend the Black Phoebe didn't come to visit today. Funny he is only there when Bebe is inside! Well maybe the next days. I guess the sunlight is good for them, as it is good for us as well, in some degree! Yes in the sun we can see pink and blue on his cere. BTW. he loses a lot of little feathers since yesterday, seems like he comes into a moult now. So the other babies at the shop probably were ahead of him. I also saw a little feather lying at the bottom of his cage that had some black bars on it. So he also loses bar feathers... awww baby grows up?

The sunlight pictures show a true darling of a personality - almost old beyond years; quite something.

Yes those photos do bring me joy. There are many lovely budgies on this site like Goldie that have become little people for me I feel I know them so well. I have a bad memory as to names but when I see them I know them. It's nice to see them evolve. That Black Phoebe might try to land on his cage if you leave him for one minute. He could be watching from the trees. I went in to pee and something flew of Charlies cage when I got back. I noticed there is absolutely no fear in his eyes in those pics. He is just a kid enjoying the world. Seems like he trusts his mom now.
