i am only a beginner allan, but what i have read and a little experiance with a couple of lutino hens ,they can be hard work to breed with ,and are slow maturing,i have another lutino hen she is around 18months old ,i just cant get her to pair up she not having none of it yet,i am trying to get her to accept the green split cock ,i will then have a chance of a lutino cock chick withha bit of luck ,the beginning of my own line,i am hoping t buy a pair later this year but they are a bit expensive for good ones

If you can get a Dark Green Hen or even better an Olive then that the best normal , dont worry about ticking as they are going to Inos. Breeders are likely to let better hens go if they are badly ticked.Allan
