It was an hour before sunrise when I uncovered Dilly and was thinking; oh shoot, I have to wash the brooder again today. This is when Lovie landed to inspect as well. As long as this is a "nice visit" then I like the picture

I missed this with going to the hospital. I also hope it was a friendly visit, maybe the beginning of a new type of friendship?

I cant believe that i have been away for just over a week and look how this dear little soul has changed. She is gorgeous BB. One question, a way back you mentioned the air bubbles and winding them. Do they get the bubbles like this when the hen is feeding them and if so how is it dealt with then and is it vital that you do wind them, sorry that's 2 questions . Im sorry if this has already been mentioned but i cant recall seeing it. They grow fast, don't they But not for someone who has to feed every few hours I have seen but haven't experienced such noticeable air bubbles in hen fed chicks, which require my intervention. Thanks BB. You must just about be on your knees with the feeding routine especially so soon after Lovie. little Dilly changes every day, beautiful.

How did the Lovie visit go, BB? I am sure he was only being curious ...... It is a wonder Dilly didn't yell out "Daddy???"

In the Lovie visit video it did sound as though Dilly was not best pleased at the visit. It did look a very precarious moment that could have turned nasty. Thankfully Lovie was more interested in food. The feather growth on Dilly is phenomenal now as you said earlier in the thread.
